WORKSHOPS

Our intensive Workshops are great fun.  A combination of theory and practical lessons with socialising fun activities mixed in. All in a 2 day period .Yes, everything that you would do in an 8 week course is achieved over 2 days. 

Workshops are a must for anyone who wants to be hands on with the development of their relationship with their puppy or older dog.

Our Workshops are not to be missed.  A 2 day workshop emphasising the recovery of relationships without the proper positive foundations, solving of  behavioural problems and behaviour management.  Principles in managing behaviour are discussed in relationship to the groups needs.  Much is learnt from these discussions giving you insight into a variety of canine behavioral issues.

Courses Offered:

Puppy Dynamics  - 

Puppy Obedience & Socialising - for puppies from 8 - 16 weeks old

We will be working through “The Learning Theories“, developing Foundational behaviours and social skills as well as teaching the puppy to respond to commands.  The puppy will be taught to walk on a leash.

We will teach:  The sit, the down, the recall and walking to heel.

Subjects covered will be:

House training,  developing positive behaviours,  feeding routines, socialising,  care and maintenance,

Fun Obedient Foundations  -  Basic Obedience – for dogs from 5 months old

We will be working through “The Learning Theories“, developing Foundational behaviours and social skills as well as teaching the dog to respond to commands.

We will teach: Heel - Left, right and about turn, Automatic sit, Permanent sit & down (stay), Recall.

Subjects covered will be:  Developing positive behaviours, feeding routines, socialising, care and maintenance and House Training if necessary.

Personal Protecting and Guarding - for over a year old

For those wanting more out of their dogs. Utilize your dog to protect your family and property. This workshop gives you insight into enhancing the right instincts and developing  the correct protective traits. In keeping with all our workshops – there is a balance between theory and practical work. Included is a discussion on food refusal and substance avoidance.
